Community Building, Meetups & Events with DLM (Dhuryyah Al Laily Marketing)

We are a socialpreneur company that creates awareness to the general public on the importance of looking after those who are in need as well as those who have lost their jobs. Our mission is to help the poor and jobless.

We are in the donation business where we are motivated to ensure most of the money donated (ie. 70% to 80% at least) will be used to purchase necessary items and handed over to the recipients (asnaf, orphans etc.).

We have re-established ourselves as a distributed warehouse to cater for the poor. This pivoting incorporates some of the most interesting technology called blockchain. We are in the process of integrating ICP blockchain into our transparent tracking system. We have positioned ourselves  as a new startup company in the field of donation, as a business.

Our Past & Current Activities

We are always trying new ideas to market any small business products. Our usual activity is to introduce products in several locations through “roadshows” as well as various product introductory talk sessions. We have also shared a lot of our socialpreneur activities with higher education institutions as well as doing marketing to the general public.

We have participated in providing food to the poor. We searched for the poor and we started to interview those who needed help. As at this stage we have given to more than 140 adults and poor children. We have also helped an orphanage in Chemor, Perak, by fixing their leaky roof, as well as donating food boxes to them several times. Our focus now is to gather public support to buy from us some necessary food, and we are also starting a program to guide the asnaf to learn small business skills.

In February 2023, when Turkiye and Syria were struck by the earthquake, DLM played an
important role to help some of the earthquake victims over in Turkiye. We quickly jumped in to take action since we have friends who are helping us in Turkiye. We delivered the money to buy food, blanket and sanitary items. What’s more important is we were testing our capabilities to work internationally.

As a result of this we have signed an MOU with a Syrian NGO based in Istanbul. As part of our charity work, DLM did not take any single cent from the public donations. All the money of about RM 7,000 was transferred directly to our representatives over there and we got receipts as evidence of money usage. We managed to help more than 80 families near the border of Turkiye and Syria early this year.

DLM Community Building

To help expand the value proposition, we have built a community of small entrepreneurs to help sell our products and distribute it to the poor. We also sell our products to the general public.

We ace in building and training entrepreneurs whom we call agents all around Malaysia. Currently we have about 800 agents servicing our clients. We created seminar and training events from time to time and help them to recruit more agents to expand our network of entrepreneurs. By doing so, we hope that these agents can help the poor and market our products to the general public at the same time.

I started my own small online business in 2014 with my sister and wife called DLM (dlm2u.com). Together, we have groomed about 800 agents nationwide over a period of five years. My peak achievement was to bring in sales of more than 2 million ringgit for my company in 2018. In all my companies, I was involved in training, developing and coaching my sales team and my network of agents in various cities in Malaysia.

DLM Meet ups and Events

In 2019, we organised an event in Shah Alam, Malaysia. We held this event to attract partners and customers to join our network of small entrepreneurs. We introduced the agents to the food manufacturers.
